Job market platform Venturesity Raises INR 1.6 Crores In Angel Funding From RedBus Co-Founder & Others

The online platform for discovering jobs through challenges, Venturesity, has secured INR 1.6 crores in an angel round of funding.
The investors include RedBus co-founder Phanindra Sama, Jay Sethuram, partner at California-based Crestlight Venture Partners, founder and CEO of Torrent Networking Technology Hemant Kanakia, and founder of angel fund and incubator Srijan Capital Ravi Trivedi.

The two-year-old Bangalore based startup provided a platform for companies to discover top talent through challenges. The challenges are real world projects that would help candidates showcase their job skills to prospective employers and build credibility into their profiles. These challenges are in the form of Hackathons, Codesprints, Codejams and Online Contests. Venturesity also hosts Workshops, Bootcamps, and other learning resources to help the job seekers get through the challenge.
Venturesity’s employer list includes the startups like Stayzilla, Ola, Housing.
