Jombay Raises Undisclosed Funding From VentureWorks India
Jombay has sealed an undisclosed amount of funding from VentureWorks India, led by ex-Goldman Sachs MD Keshav Sanghi and Nikunj Jhaveri, Chairman & Founder of the Systems Plus Group of companies.
Venture Works India will bring their operational expertise and network to Jombay, while the investment will also see Keshav Sanghi join Jombay’s advisory board.
The round of investment will enable Jombay to extend its assessment products to a people-first product engine that claims to increase performance across organizations.
The company plans to extend its products to the entire employee life-cycle from entry of employees in the company, to their learning & development, and performance management.
“The fast adoption of Jombay by Indian companies, have allowed us to advocate the importance of psychographic analysis and use of behavioral science to enable smarter HR decisions. HR is at the cusp of change, and there lies a huge opportunity to disrupt the way companies engage with their employees throughout their lifetime in the organization. We aim to connect and define the impact between behavior and the bottom line. The operational expertise of Venture Works India will help us accelerate this growth,” says Mohit Gundecha, Co-Founder and ChiefExecutive Officer, Jombay.
