Jungle Ventures To Raise $100mn Asia Fund; Will Write More Series A Cheques

Singapore based Jungle Ventures has raised $65mn Asia fund and is aiming to close $100mn by end of this year.

The second fund is 10X of the first one ($10mn, raised in 2012).

Jungle Ventures’ portfolio includes Zipdial, Livspace and while the fund used to do $1mn investment or so, the new fund will be focused on investing $3mn – $5mn (Series A cheques) across south east asian startups.

Jungle Ventures plans to make 20 investments over the next 2 years.

Recently, Kalaari too raised $290mn India fund.
