E-ciggarette company, Juul is working on India launch (in 2019).
The company has hired Uber India executive Rachit Ranjan as a senior public policy strategist. Juul has also hired India-based Mastercard executive Rohan Mishra as head of government relations (source).
India has strict regulations around import of e-cigarettes and 8 out of 29 states have banned e-cigarettes.
