One App. All Departments: Karnataka Government To Launch MOne App [GovTech]

The app will be integrated with central government’s PayGov payment gateway.

mobileoneM-One (MobileOne) is the latest initiative by the Karnataka government to bring eGovernance to the fingertips of every citizen through their mobile phones. The service is set to be launched on December 8th and is being carried out amid the criticism that the Karnataka CM, Siddharamaiah is not industry-friendly.
According to officials, the M-One app is aimed at being the single point for all services necessary to citizens. The app has a total of 637 G2C (government to citizen) mobile services of different departments and 3,644 B2C (business to consumer) services enabled on it. With such a huge collection of services, the app will be the largest government platform in the world.
The app will be integrated with central government’s PayGov payment gateway.  NetBanking, Credit/Debit cards, IMPS and RuPay cash wallet will support payments on the app. The platform is hosted on Karnataka State Data Centre and is implemented by Centre for e-Governance under the e-governance department.
The app will support user’s needs through various modes such as through SMSes, interactive voice response (IVR), mobile web and smart client apps. M-One was launched on a pilot-test basis last year in Karnataka. [source]
