One of the leading tourist destinations in the country just went a notch up in attracting more tourists to the land. In an attempt to target more European customers at the high end of the spectrum, God’s Own Country – Kerala, recently released a mobile video campaign called Your Moment Is Waiting for the iPhone and iPad via MobMe, Kerala based startup (read the story of these college kids).

The campaign leverages Google acquired Admob’s interstitial ads capability giving options to access Kerala Tourism’s other Social Media channels including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Google claims that this campaign is expected to generate 2.5 million video views in a week. Whether or not that happens, remains to be seen – but it ofcourse is a great achievement for Mobme team to get notiiced at a global level.
