Kinetic Green Energy has signed up an MoU with Nagpur MahaMetro to provide battery-operated three-wheelers for last-mile connectivity.
In the pilot batch, the company will deploy 20 such vehicles and will charge just Rs. 10 per passenger. The number of vehicles will gradually be increased to 15 per metro station. Customers will be able to book these e-rickshaws via a mobile app and it will accept cashless payment too.
Initially, this e-rickshaw service will be made available to commuters at Khapri, New Airport, Airport South, Airport Jaiprakash Nagar, Sitabardi Subhash Nagar, and Lokmanya Nagar Metro Station.
