Social E-commerce Startup Klip.in Bags Funding from Angels

Klip.in, a social discovery and curation tool for ecommerce has raised funds from VentureNursery’s angels and Mumbai Angels. The Mumbai based startup was part of the second batch of the VentureNursery’s acceleration program.

KllipSmursh E-commerce, which runs Klip.in, has bagged funding from Mumbai angels and a few individual international investors. This is part of an earlier round in which the company raised an undisclosed amount of funding from VentureNursery’s angels.

Klip.in, is a social discovery and curation tool for ecommerce. The Mumbai based startup was part of the second batch of the VentureNursery’s acceleration program that finished in April 2013.

According to a report, the social ecommerce startup has raised Rs 50 lakh.

Harsh Gadia, Founder, Klip.in said, “We have been growing by 100% on a month on month basis.”

The online product discovery portal, use users social connections and an interest graph to aggregate and curate lifestyle products across the web.

The parent company, Smursh E-commerce Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2011 by Harsh Gadia and Maneesh Madambath, college friends.
