A mysterious aircraft, built by Zee.Aero, a startup reportedly funded by Google co-founder Larry Page was recently spotted at the Hollister Airport in California, USA, raising speculations, whether the vehicle could be a ‘flying car,’ that many innovators, including Page, have dreamed of building.
Although dubbed a ‘flying car,’ the unnamed aircraft is not really a car, but a battery-powered aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), and going by its design, it shows an aircraft parked like a car in a typical lot. At least that’s what we know so far about the secret project, in which Page has invested more than $100 million. Zee.Aero’s website itself refers to the vehicle as “a revolutionary new form of transportation that will change personal aviation,” but said the company is “currently not discussing (its) plans publicly.”
