Lava Launches KKT Ultra+Union With Support For 22 Indian Languages At Rs 1500

Indian phone manufacturing company Lava on Tuesday launched KKT Ultra + Union, a feature phone with support for 22 local languages.

Indian phone manufacturing company Lava on Tuesday launched KKT Ultra + Union, a feature phone with support for 22 local languages.

Priced at Rs 1500, the phone is designed with an aim to minimize the communication gap, arising due to language barriers, between people belonging to different parts of the country.

Along with English the phone supports other Indian languages including Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

KKT Ultra+Union comes with a screen of 2.4 inch, an in-built dual-SIM slot, with GSM operating frequency. It offers 1750 mAh Li-ion battery with talk time of 18hrs along with a VGA camera.

Through this phone we want to bridge the language barrier and enable people to express themselves in their own language with their near and dear ones across the country,” Gaurav Nigam, Senior Vice President & Head Product, Lava International said in a statement.

The phone will be available in black and grey colour variants across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets. It comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty for the device and 6 months warranty for the in-box accessories which includes a battery, headset and a charger.
