Legal advice startup LawRato has raised an undisclosed amount in its Pre-Series A round of funding led by Indian Angel Network (IAN). As part of the deal, V P Rajesh and Srikant Sastri from IAN will join the company’s Board of Directors.
The raised funds will be used for the development of its online platform and expansion of operations. It will also be deployed towards increasing its services to cover everyday legal matters such as property verification, promissory note, gift deeds, power of attorney etc, the company said.
Founded in 2014, LawRato is a legal advice and lawyer search platform that makes expert legal advice accessible to everyone by providing on-demand legal services for every need. LawRato currently lists over 2,200 lawyer profiles across 200 cities in India.
