Lenovo has begun their aggressive push into India by announcing 6 Android phones at various price points that will target all markets segments. The cheapest is the A390 at Rs 8,689 while the flagship K900 is priced at Rs 32,999.
Lenovo has been advertising these phones on television during the past couple of weeks.
Apart from the above mentioned phones there is the S920 priced at Rs 26399, the S820 at Rs 19599, the p780 at Rs 22529 and the A706 at Rs 15949.
Lenovo K900 Specifications
The flagship of the series is the Lenovo K900 smartphone, which has been priced very competitively Rs 32,999. The K900 is a 5.5-inch phablet which has a metallic frame. It is one of the first devices to run on Intel’s CloverTrail+ dual-core chipset. The phone was first announced at CES in January, so has taken a bit of time to hit the Indian shores. It is available in very select markets across the world.
The K900 features a 5.5-inch IPS display which has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, which is 401 pixels per inch. The chipset has been clocked at 2GHz and the device has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot which users can expand the memory up to 32GB. It also has USB on the go.
As far as the camera is concerned, it has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. Both can shoot HD video. The rear camera has a f1.8 focal length lens, making it the first smartphone to offer such a wide aperture on its camera. The rear camera has also been widened to an 880 viewing angle, the widest available on a smartphone front camera.
The highlight of this phone is even though it packs in so much it is very slim at just 6.9mm thin and weighs 162 grams. The device runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It has a 2,500-mAh battery.

The Lenovo P780, priced at Rs 22529, has a huge 4.000mAh battery, 5-inch 720p display, and a quad core processor.
The Lenovo S920 runs on Android Jelly Bean and has Dual SIM support. It has a 5.3-inch IPS display (1280 x 720), 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera with LED flash and autofocus. It comes will just 4GB Internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and a 2250 mAh Li-Ion battery. The price for the S920 is Rs 26,399.
The Lenovo S820 has a 4.66-inch (720 x 1280 pixels, 315 ppi) IPS LCD display. It runs onandroid Jelly Bean and is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz MTK 6589 processor with 1GB of RAM. It features a 12-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera with LED flash and Autofocus. It has 4GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery. It has been priced at Rs 19,599.
The Lenovo A706 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen display(16:9 854 x 480 screen resolution, 217 ppi). It is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It has 4GB w of internal storage and is priced at Rs 15,949.
The Lenovo A390, which is the cheapest phone of the lot has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels, 233 ppi) display and is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. It too has 4GB of internal memory and a 5 MP camera. It has been priced at Rs. 8,689.
