Linkedin Opens Its Development Center In India, First Outside Mountain View, California

While our editor just concluded an open session with Linkedin’s Sr. VP (Product & User Experience) Deep Nishar, Linkedin has announced that it opened its first Development center in Bangalore, India. This is the company’s first development center outside Mountain View, California.

Linkedin already has sales office in NCR and Bangalore with India HQ in Mumbai with a total of about 50 employees.

Linkedin has almost 12Mn users in India, second only to US. That is about 10% of Linkedin’s total user base. For those who think Linkedin is any less popular, well the number is about 31% of the Facebook user base in India.
