LinkedIn which has 37 million users in India has announced ‘Lite’ mobile product for India in order to increase its userbase

LinkedIn Lite will be 4X faster than the normal mobiles site and will consume only 150kB for homepage and 70 kb for subsequent pages.
Linkedin Lite will be available over the next few weeks to users across India. The announcement was made by Jeff Winer during his India visit.
