As per a local media report, Liverpool City Council (LCC) has shared its plans for using blockchain technology to mitigate the city’s climate impact. This will happen through a year-long trial of a blockchain platform for making the security and exchange of tokenized carbon credits smooth and, consequently, offset the city’s climate impact by more than 110 percent. Strong traceability could help with carbon-yellow-cards faster and better it seems.
