LongLongAgo is a library exclusively for children’s books. The service comes with standard features like no late fees, home delivery etc. and is currently available for Bangalore, Chennai and Coimbatore.
While the design of site is very vibrant what intrigues me is if it really appeals to the target audience, the parents. Also, we are yet to see how they have executed the offline part of the business. The real challenge lies in updating new titles regularly, the logistics etc. And ofcourse dealing with damaged books, there are going to be lots of them.
The site has removed the pain of one more account by using OpenID but does it really add value in ecommerce do so? You anyway have to fill-up the whole registration form with your address etc.
Would it make sense for them to tie-up with Rentoys and collaborate on the consumer end?
Do give it a spin and share your views.
