  • Qn #2 : At the end of the day, a lot of startups are focused on acquiring users (a clear function of valuation). A meta service like this is potentially a threat (for e.g. Ola banned some of the apps that were doing API calls across all taxi services).

Do you guys have any *legal* partnerships with providers OR you are starting all over with procurement etc? Where is the quality check in the process? Who owns quality?

  • There are several core tech elements in this business. We are not a simple logistics or delivery service.

Tech is across 3 components –

    a) Scalable chat infrastructure – which allows 100s of chat agents to simultaneously respond to requests

    b) Deep integration with vendors + real-time data and analytics

    c) Deep integration with logistics providers + offline providers

  • We dont do anything illegal :).

All our partnerships today are legal and with consent of service providers.

In the medium term we have the vision of improving service quality levels as well – and have started doing that for some of our partners too.

A thin layer of such services is not going to work or be successful. Arbitrage based plays are always short term – our thought is to solve real inefficiencies in service providers as well as make us the first starting point for consumers.
