On Monday, the Government issued a circular asking all the departments not to use the google translator tool. The Government has also asked that the concerned person needs to be careful while translating and the content should be certified before one publishes it on the Government site.

In August this year, a circular was issued for imposing sedition charges which had a faulty Marathi translation. The state government admitted to the mistakes in the Marathi version and later withdrew the circular.
