Mahindra-owned Automobili Pininfarina has announced that it will develop a high-performance electric vehicle platform along with Bosch and Benteler, which will supply the components.
Pininfarina also announced that it plans to build a range of luxury electric vehicles and the production will start by late 2020. Though the company has not revealed the cost involved in developing this platform, it is being reported that it plans to launch an electric sedan and an electric SUV in the next three years.
The company is said to start working on these new vehicles only after the launch of its all-electric hypercar Battista.
