Maruti Suzuki Reports 5% Drop in Production in June 2023; SUV and Ciaz See Increase

Maruti Suzuki’s total vehicle production fell 5.03% YoY in June 2023, from 144,409 to 137,133 units, impacting most of the product line-up.
The sedan Ciaz and SUVs, benefited from new models like Fronx, Brezza face-lift, and Grand Vitara, saw increased production, with the latter seeing a 25.44% rise.
The company acknowledged the impact of a shortage of electronic components on production, while taking steps to mitigate effects.
