We hardly have any feature phones what we’re really impressed with but a new launch by Indian handset manufacturer Maxx has caught our eyes. Maxx mobiles is keen to build on its existing portfolio and introduced an addition to its Big Battery series of phones.
The phones are aimed at consumers who prefer long battery life over features. But don’t get me wrong – there are not many features that you will be sacrificing when you purchase this phone.
Maxx Super MX424 packs quite a punch if you look at the battery. The phone boasts of a huge 2200mAH battery, big enough to put some high end smartphones to shame. With this monstrous battery Maxx mobiles seeks to offer 11hrs to 17hrs of talk time. But the battery is just part of the deal, some interesting features include Dual-sim capability, mp3 player, video player, 1.3MP rear facing camera with LED flash and wire free FM. The device sports a 2.4 inch TFT screen and dedicated launch buttons for music and camera.
The device is well rounded balance of features combined with a great price tag of Rs2,727. The company is targeting this phone towards small towns and villages but we figure this is an excellent buy for anybody who makes a lot of calls and doesn’t really need to use the internet while on the go. Other phones in the Big Battery series include the Maxx Rave, Hexa and Buzz.
