MayField Raises $108 mn Second India Fund

US based VC fund, MayField has raised a second India fund worth $108 million.

US based VC fund, MayField has raised a second India fund worth $108 million, the company said.


Mayfield had previously raised a $110 million India fund in 2008, to invest in the Indian tech, infrastructure and consumer sectors. It has also invested in Bangalore based incubator AngelPrime.

MayField invests between $2 mn – $8 mn in early-stage tech infrastructure startups in India.

It will be aiding tech-enabled infrastructure solutions and mobile based tech-enabled solutions in India. Very recently, IDG ventures raised funding from CA technologies to focus on emerging enterprise startup segment.

Mayfield is currently invested in Amagi Media, Centum Learning and India Property among others.

Inventus Capital had also recently raised a second India fund to support US-India startups.
