The two-year-old Bangalore-based startup, which combines elements of a social network and a medical journal, has raised an undisclosed new round of funding from Accel India and Asuka Holding, besides existing backers Beenos and Powerhouse Ventures. The funding will be used to add more content and expand the network’s user base.
Founded in 2014, by Dr. Deepu Sebin, an MD in internal medicine, Daily Rounds is a mobile app that provides free clinical cases, news and other medical content to doctors. The app also helps doctors share information and get access to cases treated by their peers.
