Micromax has launched Funbook Infinity tablet which runs on Android 4.0.4 and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 Processor.

Funbook Infinity is equipped with 4000mAh battery, 2.0 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera to enable video calling via Skype. The device also features  dual speakers for quality sound output. Micromax continues its partnership with McGraw Hill, Everonn, Pearson, and Vriti for its educational content and entertainment partnership with BigFilx, Zenga, Hangama & IndiaGames.

The tablet plays videos in a wide range of formats such as AVI, MPEG, MKV, RMVB, MP4, MOV, VOB, DAT, FLV and 3GP. The new Funbook infinity comes with a USB which help the users to share and transfer data, images, videos anywhere anytime and enjoy the content in the desired way. Micromax Funbook Infinity also features pre-installed Adobe Flash player.

Similar to its predecessors, Funbook infinity comes with connectivity options such as 3G dongle and Wi-Fi connectivity. The users can efficiently utilize the interactive study materials provided in the tablet and download games from a wide range of genre such as action, strategy and arcade. Users can also get to download movies and videos from M! Store.

Micromax holds 3rd position amongst the handset manufacturers in India with a market share of 6.3% for the FY 2011-12.
