Microsoft Launches New Privacy Dashboard to Give You More Control Over Data

In response to widespread accusation about Windows 10 sending an “unprecedented amount of usage data” back to Microsoft, the company is launching a web-based account privacy dashboard that lets you monitor and control the information Microsoft services use.
With this, you can view and wipe your Bing search history, Edge browsing history, your location activity, and even edit your data for Cortana Notebook and Microsoft Health.
Microsoft has also promised that Windows 10 Creators update will have a better privacy experience from the start. ”You will walk through a new setup process that clarifies your privacy choices, whether you are starting fresh with Windows 10 or already have it installed,” the company said.
Does this solve, all privacy concerns people have with Windows 10? Maybe not, but Microsoft promises that this is just a “first step,” and promises that there is more to come in the long run.
