Microsoft Pledges $1 Billion Worth Cloud Services to Nonprofits, Researchers

The philanthropic arm of Microsoft plans to donate US$1 billion in cloud services over 3 years to non profit organizations and researchers, in a bid to provide access to these services to communities that can’t afford them. The announcement was made by CEO Satya Nadella at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
