Mobile based AppAlert, a real-time school bus tracking system has raised Rs 6 crore in seed funding and plans to launch a cloud-based solution.
Gurgaon based AppAlert caters to parents and allows only parents or authorised individuals to receive the child.
“We received funding to set up the app from a Delhi-based angel investor who is in the logistics business. We are looking to democratise the way in which the process of picking up children from the bus stop happens,” Ashuvinder Ahuja, developer of the app told ET.
