Mobile Collaboration Platform Tydy Secures Angel Funding

Tydy, a mobile collaboration platform for Sales & Marketing teams has raised $138,000 in angel funding round led by Hareesh Ramanna (MD of BORQS Software and ex- Senior Director at Motorola.). Other angels in the round includes Bhupen Shah (co-founder of SlingBox), Soumitra Sharma (ex-IDG Ventures), Nikhil Ramanlal (Director, Atandra).

With more and more businesses embracing mobile devices in the workforce, Bangalore based Tydy provides a fully-customizable platform for them to include these devices in their processes and as a result increase efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce (current customer base includes Mantri Developers, Puma, Atta Galatta etc).

The funds will be allocated to hiring a couple of engineering resources and invest in the sales & marketing process. This will help the two-man founding team to grow to a 4-5 person team. The goal for the next 6-8 months is to focus on investing in product development and building a customer base that shows scale and growth.
