Mobile Publishing Platform MobStac Raises Series B Funding from Accel Partners & Cisco

Bangalore based MobStac has raised $2 mn in series B funding from Accel Partners and Cisco, according to a new report.

Cisco has invested $1 mn in company, which works with content publishers to help them establish and monetize their content on the mobile, the TechCrunch reported.

Mobstac had raised a round of funding from Accel Partners and Mumbai Angels in 2011 (read their experience: How We Raised Angel Funding in India).

Last year, in November, the venture backed startup launched HTML5stac, a cloud based platform for HTML5 and JavaScript developers to build responsive websites and mobile apps. You can use HTML5stac to create websites as well as hybrid mobile apps using frameworks like PhoneGap.

In December 2012, the mobile publishing platform, partnered with PubMatic to offer its platform through PubMatic’s PubLink enterprise app marketplace.
