There are a few captcha based ad networks in global markets, but very few of them are active in India and NLPCaptcha wants to be the ad network that brings publishers and advertisers to monetize 300,000,000 eyeballs wasted daily, i.e. captchas.
What’s interesting about Noida based NLPCaptcha is that it charges advertisers on ‘cost-per-recall’, which means you pay only when the customer actually types your brand message and the startup has already roped in Sify as a publisher (check out Sify signup page) and has partnered with Indian Express, India Today, Dainik Jagran, Deccan Chronicle, Oneindia, Surfindia etc.
As far as IP is concerned, NLPCaptcha uses natural language processing to convert those irritating traditional captchas into your most premium inventory (patent pending) and automatically generates random questions in human language (as opposed to cryptic captchas).
For publishers, this opens up a new way to monetize inventory, which didn’t even exist earlier. NLPCaptcha is started by Amit Mittal, who earlier was Marketing head of Dainik Bhaskar group, Sidharth Oswal and Sahil Gupta.
What’s your take on branded captchas? Are they here to stay?
