Roundup: Zook: Idea Cellular,Vodafone: Hollywood and more

Zook has partnered with Idea Cellular to power Idea’s Stock Search and Subscription Service.

Under the ‘Stock Search and Subscription Service’, IDEA would provide the subscribers with updated stock market SMS alerts on their mobile, enabling them to keep an eye on their portfolio while on the move. Unlike other broadcast services, one can choose to be alerted on specific stocks.

Vodafone goes Hollywood way

Vodafone has launched a hill sign in Rajasthan.  The huge Vodafone hill sign, measuring 130 feet x 30 feet, is visible from over a kilometer and the size of each letter is about 25 feet.

‘The hill is a privately owned land and hence cost the company much less than it would otherwise have done on government owned land. The sign was installed about a week ago and will remain as a landmark in the same location for at least five years.’- source
