Post Google acquisition, Motorola officially shuts down India site

Post Google acquisition, Motorola announced laying off 20% of its workforce and also closing down its India operations (except for employees working for US based projects).

On August 15, Google announced an agreement to acquire Motorola Mobility, based in Libertyville, Illinois, for $40 per share and Motorola Mobility’s patent portfolio will help protect the Android ecosystem, which Google (and partners) have been struggling through.
