Motorola’s Moto X Play has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 18,499 and Rs 19,999 for 16 and 32GB version, respectively.
The Moto X Play promises a 30 hour battery life with its 21mp camera, and claims to be the cheapest phone to do so. The Moto X goes on sale on Flipkart today midnight.
The phone display has a 5.5 inch Full HD screen at 403 ppi with Gorilla Glass 3. Performance wise it boasts a Snapdragon 614 Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz with Adrena 405 @ 550 MHz GPU.
Talking about the new model, Carl Steen said that Motorola will be the “first to roll out Android M, whenever released”. The company also indicated that the older Moto X will be phased out gradually from the market.
