Mozilla has blocked all versions of Flash on its Firefox browser following the discovery of several critical vulnerabilities with Adobe’s platform that can lead to hackers infecting a user’s computer.

The move was announced by Mark Schmidt, head of Firefox support, in a tweet.

The news follows Facebook’s recently appointed security chief Alex Stamos’ tweet saying that Adobe should set an end-of-life date for Flash and ask browsers to killbits on the same day.
