Mumbai witnessed 70% rise in cyber crime in 2022

  • Up until November 2022, at least 4,286 instances of cyber fraud were reported in Mumbai, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said.
  • Till November 2022, 1,294 instances of credit card and online fraud were reported in the city; of these, 37 have been resolved, he said.
