Data analytics company Mu Sigma has acquired social media analytics company Webfluenz, a Singapore based company which counts companies like American Express & Nivea among its clients.

Webfluenz has been working with Mu Sigma on a variety of solutions and will add significantly to Mu Sigma’s products portfolio in serving our clients’ advanced needs going beyond traditional social media monitoring.
The data analytics firm was valued at $1 billion when MasterCard Advisors, a division of MasterCard acquired an equity stake in the company in February 2013. MuSigma is one of the few technology companies to make it to India’s billion dollar club recently.
