Wedding Service Portal, Myshaadi Raises First Round of Funding from Indian Angel Network

The online wedding services portal, has raised its first round of funding from the Indian Angel Network. The investors include active angel investors Sunil Kalra; Ashim Mehra; Rajan Anandnan; and Rehan Yar Khan, the man behind Remindo and Flora2000. myshaadiPost this investment Rehan Yar Khan joins board.

Launched in February, 2011, the portal enables couples to plan wedding events, share invitations, share photographs along with features like budget calculator, shopping list, to do list, etc. The site has served more than 13,000 couples and aims to add one lakh couples by the end of 2012.

The investment will be used to hire and bring in more talent from the industry and strengthen operations.
