Inspite of India having a large and established community of interior designers, the largely unorganized industry makes it difficult to find designs ideas, hiring professionals and buying home décor products for the owners. Similarly as far as the interior designers are concerned, there is no platform for them through which they can cater to customers.
Nestopia, a Mumbai based company, is trying to solve this issue by providing homeowners with a start-to-finish solution to build or renovate their space. The service is a marketplace platform for interior design needs, through which homeowners can discover designs of designers first hand and also other home decor products. Similarly the platform also becomes a solution for designers, studios and firms where potential customers can research and compare amongst the various design portfolios.
As a space owner, you can search for designs by the space you want designs for or by the type of professionals you are looking for doing the particular work. The search result can then be filtered down by state and city you are looking for.
If you like any of the designs displayed, you can access the professionals or vendors details by click on the image. The details are displayed along with other images from the project, portfolio, review and other projects undertaken by the professional.
You can directly contact the chosen professional from within the website using the contact me button below the basic information.
In case if you have a particular job proposition, you can post it on the job board and the professionals on the network interested in taking up the job can contact you.
The service already has 75 verified professionals signed up on the service and also accumulated an inventory of more than 8000 professionals across India.
The service also has a visual directory of professionals on Google maps. The service opened its beta fro public on October 6th and also launched its professional connect service along with it.
Professionals can sign up for the service and display their projects and portfolio on the marketplace. There are two plans for the professionals to choose from an Assitant plan and a Brand Manager plan. The Assistant plan is free, but limited to 5 projects, 100 photos and only 5 job boar interactions per month. The Business Manager plan is a paid plan with unlimited usage and an additional analytics dashboard. You can see the full pricing plan here.
The portal also has a Nest Reads blog section with various interior ideas and DIY renovation posts.
In the future the service also plans to add Product Aggregation (Affiliate Marketing & Strategic Partnerships) and Product & Building Material Manufacturers to its listings.
