India News Roundup: Networkplay has partnered with airtel dth, HT City & Desimartini announce content aggregation and idea has launched a virtual character called Zac.

Networkplay, the ad network funded by Goosefish Media and Capital18 has partnered with Airtel for DTH monetization, via CPM based advertising.

Quite a logical move for advertising network to foray into DTH space, as even online players have taken DTH route for distribution.

HT City and Desimartini Content Integration

DesiMartini(acquired by HT Media), has launched an integrated service with HT City (HT’s Entertainment and Lifestyle supplement), “Celeb and the City” – celeb column written by the top celebrities in India like Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar and “Page 3” –the exclusive column capturing the parties of the who’s who of the city.
