New Delhi based EXON enables corporates to assess skill and conduct surveys via web and IVR

exonEducation and training over the web is all set to become big in India as the current e-learning market, which stands at $150 million, is estimated to grow at 15% CAGR year on year. To capitalize the growing market, startups such as Professorbuddy, Insurancegurukul and CourseBuffet have been launched by entrepreneurs over the past few months.

While most of the above startups are focused on students-professor or institutions focused on educational needs, New Delhi based EXON has launched an online assessment platform for corporates – covering assessment instances across hiring, training and equips educational institutions to carry out online entrance and scholarship examination.

Launched by Shailesh Mehta and Navjit Singh, EXON offers a range of online assessments and examinations services, which enable corporates to gauge skill, aptitude, technical knowledge and behavior (psychometric assessments) of job seekers and employees. The startup’s solution covers end to end process of examinations right from registration to declaration of results.

Soon after venturing into assessments in the corporate sector for hiring and training, EXON spotted sizable opportunity in organizational surveys that are usually conducted by the HR team. “We broadened our scope to provide survey solutions (Technology platform, content and analytics embedded) for a variety of surveys in organizations like exit surveys, employee engagement, 360 degree and on boarding surveys,” said Navjit Singh, co-founder, EXON. The startup conducts surveys via Internet and Interactive Voice Response (IVR), which enables respondents to take survey through Phone.

As of now, EXON  services more than 30 clients in the Corporate sector while the institution segment has been little slow, “We service close to 10 clients till now and the numbers are expected to grow exponentially in the next couple of years,” added Singh.

In future, EXON aims to come up with optimized products for corporate and education centric assessments and survey. Presently, we have a team of 20 people, however we are eying to become 60 people team in the next couple of years’” concluded Singh.
