New Delhi Railway Station Gets Free WiFi

New Delhi railway station will become the first to provide free wi-fi in IndiaStarting today, RailTel, a railway PSU will provide free WiFi at the New Delhi railway station, considered to be the busiest station in the country. The free WiFi can be used for 30 minutes and users have to register for the service through their mobile phones.
Usage beyond 30 minutes can be availed through scratch cards, priced at Rs 25 for 30 minutes and Rs 35 for an hour that can be bought at the WiFi helpdesks set up at the railway station.
The free WiFi will also be launched on a trial basis at Agra, Ahmadabad and Varanasi stations by the end of December and at Howrah, Mumbai CST and Secunderabad stations by January next year.
Earlier Free Wifi had been made available at Connaught Place, Telangana, Bangalore and Patna.
