Indian bite-sized news app News in Shorts has raised $20 million in Series B funding led by Tiger Global.

News in Shorts plans to use the raised capital to expand its team of editors and improve its user experience in the near future.

The app believes in human curation of news stories and each summary is manually written by an in-house team of editors. Each summary provides a single link to the original source article.

News in Shorts had raised $4 million in Series B back in February 2015.
