CanvasM launches employment service on phone
Mahindra group company CanvasM today launched a Saral Rozgar service which will connect job seekers and employers directly through phone.
The company will charge Rs 30 per month from job seekers for accessing job related information and Rs 5 from job providers every time they call and connect with the job seeker
CanvasM has partnered with the Rashtriya Rozgar Mission to bring more jobs on board [source].

Costlier food, fuel will dent India’s growth most in Asia, says ADB
According to an Asian Development Bank (ADB) estimate, which assumes a combined 30 per cent increase in global food and oil prices in 2011, the resultant inflationary pressure could knock off well over three quarters of a percentage point from India’s growth this year and another 1.25 percentage points in 2012. The projected hit on India’s growth in 2012 is the highest in comparison to eight major Asian economies included in the study.
For India, the projected food and oil price surge this year is expected to take a bigger toll on growth vis-à-vis China, both during 2011 and in 2012 [source].
Snapdeal launches SMS vouchers to avail discounts
Snapdeal has announced SMS vouchers – The SMS message that the customer gets on the registered mobile number after buying a deal, would be good enough to avail the offer. The new service provides ease for the customers who find it tedious at time, to take a print out of the voucher.
