Zensar Acquires London-based UX Design Agency Foolproof

Pune-based IT firm Zensar has acquired London-based user experience (UX) design agency Foolproof for an undisclosed amount, as the company looks to increase its market share in the digital space. Foolproof helps global brands design products based on an understanding of consumer behaviour.

“This acquisition fortifies Zensar’s digital offerings and furthers the company’s ability to work with CMOs and CDOs to improve outcomes for their customers, and to drive innovation through design,” Sandeep Kishore, CEO of Zensar, said in a statement.

Foolproof has around 100 employees in its offices in Norwich, Singapore and London, and its clients include companies such as HSBC, Google, Shell and Allianz. The acquisition gives Zensar access to Foolproof’s customers across sectors.

Insurance Startup EasyPolicy Raises Funding From Ronnie Screwvala, Others

Online insurance startup EasyPolicy has raised funding from Ronnie Screwvala’s Unilazer Ventures, and the FMCG giant Dabur’s Burman family office. The investment, which is reported to be around $8-10 million, will be used by the company to strengthen its distribution system, and launch products such two-wheeler insurance and customized small-ticket health insurance plans.

Easypolicy was founded by Alok Bhatnagar, a former Thomson Reuters executive in 2011 along with Policybazaar founding member Divyanshu Tripathi and Neeraj Aggarwala. It compares and sells life and non-life categories plans across insurers.
