Nokia-Lumia-620-2

After a long wait, the Nokia Lumia 620 is finally available for pre-order in India. The phone has quietly popped up on various online stores. The phone is available on the official Nokia Online Shop for Rs 14,999. The price is listed as Rs 15,399 with a 3% discount and says it will be delivered in 7 working days.

The Lumia 620 is the most affordable in Nokia’s range of Windows Phone 8 smartphones, that is until Nokia decides to bring the Lumia 520, which it unveiled at the Mobile World Congress last week in Barcelona, to India.

Saholic has the phone listed for Rs 14,299, while Infibeam also has the phone up for pre-order priced at Rs 14,999. Flipkart has the phone listed at Rs 15,199.

The Lumia 620 has a 3.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 480×800. It features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Like all other Lumias it runs on Windows Phone 8 OS and will come with Nokia apps like Here Drive, CityLens, Here Maps and MixRadio. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. The phone has 5 color options – magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black. The phone is packed with a 1300 mAh battery. It has internal memory of 8GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.

This phone will go head-to-head with the HTC One V and the Galaxy S Duos, which are both similarly priced but run on Android.

We think that Nokia has finally got the price right with the one, especially after they launched the Lumia 920 and 820 at pretty high prices and then reduced them few weeks after the launch.
