Numo is a newly launched service (started by Kesava, who was earlier with MyDuniya which has shutdown) that is building a SMS platform for enterprise to interact with customers.
Numo’s platform enable enterprises with high quality SMS delivery and two way (interactive) capabilities. The platform is fully configurable with API based integration to provide access to real time data. Enterprises will benefit significantly by having a mobile channel access to their customers in the area of customer support and relationships.
The service lets enterprise conduct polls/surveys, send notifications to customers, capture feedback/requests etc.
Next wave of usage of such services will have to be driven by SMBs and an easy to use ‘on-demand’ service (and not the hosted platforms which shoots the maintenance cost) is what SMBs will look pay for.
