India’s complex sets of laws is not only difficult to access, but also difficult to understand. There is no single simple resource explaining them, despite the fact that today, one can find the most obscure piece of information at the click of a browser.

Enter Nyaaya.in. A free online repository of every Indian law explained in an accessible user-friendly format.

Recently launched, according to the site’s own description, Nyaaya is:

  • India’s first free online repository of every central and state law.
  • Explained in simple English.
  • With interactive guides and visualisations, to get people to the right legal answer.

Currently available in English, Nyaaya wants to eventually launch its service in India’s 22 official languages.
