Obopay and Tagit team up for common mobile banking infrastructure

Obopay India (read our earlier interview with Aditya Menon, Exec Director of Obopay) has partnered with Tagit, provider of mobile interactive platform, to create a common mobile banking infrastructure for banks, telecom companies and other financial institutions.

The partnership with Tagit involves promotion and use of both parties’ technology offerings that involves bundling Obopay’s payment platform and Tagit’s mobile transaction and banking platform. Tagit will integrate its MoBEIX Transaction Platform with Obopay’s P2P payment platform. Such a service may be co-hosted by both parties. [source]

This will help the two companies provide end-to-end mobile payment solution.
