App-based Taxi aggregator Ola has partnered with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance to provide motor insurance solutions to its driver partners.
The tie-up comes with a host of benefits including savings on insurance premiums for registered Ola cab drivers, easier claim settlement service, along with value added services and covers like Depreciation Shield and Engine Protector.
The two companies are working together to create a digital infrastructure, to bring insurance transactions and claims services online.

Bajaj Allianz has developed a dedicated call centre to Ola partner drivers to address any policy purchase related or claims related queries. The company will also provide a cover for accidents, theft and damage due to natural and man-made calamities. Moreover, it will also provide a personal accident cover of Rs. 2 lakh to the driver partner.

Ola in the past has had several tie-ups with other companies to provide benefits to its drivers. Earlier this year, Ola had announced a partnership with EduKart, an education marketplace to provide access to quality higher education to families of its driver partners.
