Ola has launched a booking via SMS option, which gets automatically activated, whenever you are offline.
To use the service, all you have to do is send Ola your current location via a text SMS, which then locates the rides around you. You will receive a SMS with the driver details, once your booking is confirmed.
In between all the app-only debate, companies are realizing that they can’t just let go of SMS technology !
